Similar to human physical therapy, therapeutic exercise is a critical aspect of canine physical rehabilitation. While our patients won’t be lifting weights or doing leg presses, our skilled therapists and assistants understand how to achieve the results we need with a handful of treats and a whole lot of knowledge – not only of the conditions we treat, but also of anatomy, posture, functional movement, and the learning process.
Equipment: A variety of exercise equipment is available to help your dog build strength, improve balance, range of motion and flexibility. Our trained staff will be sure your dog is ready, comfortable and safe when introducing any new piece of equipment to their rehabilitation protocol.
Individualized care: Our therapeutic exercise room is private – you and your dog will have our undivided attention during therapeutic exercise sessions. Undivided attention means more attention to details that matter and also creates a better learning environment for you and your dog.
Safety: Our therapeutic exercise room is fully matted and our therapists take extreme pride in ensuring your dog has a safe and fun experience.
