What are the benefits of veterinary acupuncture?

Veterinary acupuncture improves tissue blood flow, oxygenation and removal of metabolic wastes and toxins while also creating a local and generalized pain relieving affect.

Unlike prescription and over the counter pain medications, veterinary acupuncture lacks potential adverse side effects for your pet’s internal organs.  Medications or supplements will not adversely interact with veterinary acupuncture treatment; therefore it can safely be used to treat a variety of illnesses and pain.

How will my pet respond to veterinary acupuncture?

At Stride, we use fear free, force free techniques such as food reward, calming music and low stress handling. In some cases it takes a few sessions for pets to adapt to the treatment but rarely do we see pets who do not tolerate the treatment.

How long does it take to see results?

In some cases results are seen after the initial treatment while some may take several treatments to show a response.
